ABOUT

EagleView Infrared was founded in January 2000 as a major business line for EagleView Industries, Inc.

Founder, Ed Adcock, previously earned a level I CIT certificate from FLIR Systems and applied thermography to R&D projects for several years as a research engineer at a major military research facility. Ed voluntarily separated from federal service in 2001 to pursue infrared thermography full time.

Following Ed’s separation from federal service, the company landed two consecutive multi-year R&D contracts with a federal research center where infrared thermography played a major role in completing those contracts.

Ed now has a level III CIT from the Infraspection Institute and has been successful in completing contracts as a subcontractor to engineering firms for the Environmental Protection Agency and as a prime contactor for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The company has also provided infrared services as both prime and subcontractor for the U.S. Air Force as well as the entertainment industry and numerous manufacturing and production industries.

Infrared services have included R&D, aerial for roof surveys, steam and water utilities, mapping for natural springs animal population surveys and ground-based applications for block wall surveys, electrical surveys, moisture surveys and energy (heat loss) surveys.

Sandy is the office manager and she and Ed have been married for 40 years with a grown son and daughter and four grandchildren.

Ed was honored to publish an article and make a presentation at United Infrared’s Thermal Imaging Conference 2022 in South Lake Tahoe September 19-22 2022

Ed Adcock recently completed an intense course hosted by Drone Launch Academy titled Aerial Roof Inspection PRO. The course syllabus included fundamentals of roof inspection for all common roof types and materials, development of survey plans, customer coordination, flight planning, flight execution with data collection, data processing, data verification, storage and preservation of data, presentation of data in reports and actual capstone field projects. The capstone projects consisted of both residential and commercial roofs with reports reviewed by expert instructors before conveying the CARSS certification. One instructor, after reviewing the capstone projects, honored Ed with his comments “I am very impressed by your reports, two of the best I have seen so far! You have included all the necessary details, but so much more which is very beneficial for clients.”

The CARSS certification compliments Ed’s thirty-plus years of engineering experience including roof design, engineering management, construction quality assurance, and a long career of customer care enabling him to exceed customer requirements for roof surveys. Add Level III CIT for infrared certification with an emphasis on moisture mapping, remote pilot 14 CFR part 107, and part 61 commercial fixed-wing aircraft pilot licenses to make an all-around winning combination. Truly a one-stop resource for roof surveys and great customer experience for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
